POS-4000 is a PoE Splitter that adds PoE functionality to any network device that requires high power. When used in a Power over Ethernet network, POS-4000 takes the power sent over the CAT5 cable from the PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) and delivers it to the non-PoE network device for easy and flexible installation. This clever ADSL filter is actually also the front section of the BT master socket. You can remove the consumer part of the BT master socket (NTE) and replace it with this one. On the front it has a BT telephone socket and an RJ11 for the broadband modem connection. the ADSL filter is then built into the BT master avoiding ugly ADSL filters that stick out.
